Montenegro Demilitarization (MONDEM)

Montenegro Demilitarization (MONDEM) This project was established as a result of a request from the Government of Montenegro to UNDP for an independent assessment of the demilitarisation and safe storage of conventional ammunition in Montenegro. The Ministry of Defence of Montenegro http://www.odbrana.gov.me/ministarstvo has indicated that demilitarisation and safe storage of conventional ammunition is a priority during the defence reform process. The programme has four components: disposal of hazardous rocket propellant, stockpile management and security, demilitarization, and destruction of heavy weapons.
