Reform of Legal Aid System in Montenegro

Providing conditions for equal access to justice is an obligation established through a variety of international treaties. In the aim of assisting the state of Montenegro to create an effective, efficient and affordable state-funded and run legal aid system and therewith fulfil its obligations under international human rights laws, UNDP has launched a project consisting of two components: 1) Drafting of the Law on Legal Aid; 2) Implementation of the Law on Legal Aid.
