Capacity Development Programme in cooperation with Montenegrin Ministry for Environment Protection and Physical Planning mark this year’s celebration of Earth Day

Podgorica, 22 April 2006: Capacity Development Programme in cooperation with Montenegrin Ministry for Environment Protection and Physical Planning mark this year’s celebration of Earth Day.

The campaign designed to support the marking of the Earth Day also entailed billboards with the campaign logo and logos of the CDP donors. Billboards are placed in Podgorica and their visual backdrop associates with wide range of environmental issues. The emblem of green tree was chosen not only for its visual impact but also to symbolize the continuation of marketing campaign for the Strengthening of Institutional Capacities of MEPP” Program.

To highlight the importance of biodiversity and environment issues to the wider challenge of global sustainable development, TV clip “Sačuvajmo planetu Zemlju, dok jos nije kasno” (Let’s preserve the Planet Earth before it’s too late) was presented on local TV stations.
