Establishing and pursuing a high quality of tuberculosis control programme in Montenegro

In line with the sixth UN Millenium Development Goal – combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, UNDP is implementing tuberculosis project in Montenegro, financed by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM).

The overall goal of the project is establishing and pursuing a high quality and effective TB control programme, which will result in significant reduction of morbidity, mortality and transmission of the TB infection.
