Establishing and pursuing a high quality of tuberculosis control programme in Montenegro

In line with the sixth UN Millenium Development Goal – combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, UNDP is implementing a tuberculosis project in Montenegro, financed by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM).

The overall goal of the project is establishing and pursuing a high quality and effective TB control programme, which will result in significant reduction of morbidity, mortality and transmission of the TB infection.
